Roots
Why we planted this
A few hundred dollars, left alone for eighteen years, stops being a few hundred dollars. That's the whole thesis.
Most children in the United States start adult life with no savings at all. Not because nobody cared, but because the moment to start passes quietly and never announces itself. A savings account opened at age three and left alone is a different kind of object than one opened at twenty-three.
What we're actually doing
Tgiving takes a share of trading fees from a community token and routes them into a treasury that anyone can watch. Periodically, that treasury funds a contribution to a child's savings account. The child is chosen by a draw. The draw is free to enter, and the math behind it is published so that anyone can re-run it.
What we're not doing
- We're not selling anything. Nominating is free and always will be.
- We're not asking anyone to hold a token to participate, or to connect a wallet.
- We're not claiming to solve childhood poverty with a raffle.
The growth ring
Our mark is a set of tree rings. One ring per year, each one a little wider than the last, none of them dramatic on their own. That's what compounding looks like from the inside — and it's the honest picture of what a single contribution does.
Don't take our word for it. Take the chain's.
